ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BECOMING PART OF A PROUD TRADITION ?

Did you know that the volunteer fire service is as old as our nation and existed long before paid fire departments ? This proud tradition of neighbor helping neighbor dates back to pre - revolutionary times. Benjamin Franklin is credited with incorporating the first volunteer fire company in 1736. The Union Fire Company of Philadelphia was based on loosely organized volunteer firefighting companies in Boston and other cities.
Today, professional volunteer firefighters protect life and property through out America. The volunteer fire service is made up of people who care about their neighbors - people who work for pride - not a paycheck. Are you interested in joining us ? Do you think you have what it takes ?
